'A Dream Within A Hundred Dreams,' featured in the 2024 group show, 'The Mix' at Enter Gallery. Berner created 100 small, individual square pieces, which, when placed together correctly, could be viewed as one large main image. Using a variety of media including, graphite, inks, gouache paint and charcoal, he wanted each small square to be a piece of art in itself, telling it's own story. During the process, some squares took shape with intricate pen work, while others would stay loose and minimal as he drew into the abstract brushstrokes and graphite markings. Overall, the project took longer than a month to be completed, with finishing touches of 24c gold leaf in the central squares.
